The conference in Brdo, near Ljubljana in Slovenia on March 28-29, 2003 is an important part of the project initiated by the European Federation for Employee Shareownership to develop a network of individuals and organisations interested and active in promoting employee ownership and participation in the ten applicant Central and Eastern European Countries.

This active, and sustainable network intends to connect all individuals, organisations and institutions committed to and interested in promoting employee ownership (EO) and participation. It should contribute to the dissemination of information about policy, research, and best practices systematically, regularly, and as widely as possible in the ten applicant Central and Eastern European Countries, and in the EU Member States.
