UK: New Prime Minister David Cameron made clear before the election that he would consider spinning off the functions of some Government departments to employees to boost efficiency. However the Co-operative Party (which is a part of the Labour Party) expresses doubts about the new Coalition's will to promote workers' cooperatives. Royal Mail workers will get 10% of privatised business, which means that the workers' share would be the biggest of any privatised UK company for 25 years.
USA: Results from the Employee Ownership Foundation's 19th Annual Economic Performance Survey of ESOP (employee stock ownership plan) companies evidences that despite the severe economic downturn, ESOP companies on the whole continue to have increased share value, better productivity, and overwhelming support among leaders of the companies. Another extensive study evidences that ESOPs provide more employee retirement benefits than non-ESOP companies. Finally, President Obama responded to a question about ESOPs and employee-owned companies.

Royaume Uni: Le nouveau Premier Ministre David Cameron avait annoncé le projet de transmettre différents services publics à leurs salariés sous forme de coopératives, pour améliorer leur efficacité. Le Co-operative Party (qui est une des composante du Parti Travailliste) exprime ses doutes sur la  volonté réelle de la nouvelle Coalition à promouvoir les coopératives de salariés. Privatisation de la Poste: les salariés recevront 10% de l'actionnariat, la participation la plus avantageuse en 25 ans de privatisations.
USA: Résultats de la 19ème Etude Economique annuelle sur les performances des entreprises ESOP: malgré la récession sévère, les entreprises sous ESOP ont continué dans leur ensemble à progresser en termes de valorisation et de productivité, et à emporter la conviction de leurs dirigeants. Une autre étude extensive indique que les entreprises sous ESOPs procurent de meilleurs avantages-retraites que les autres. Enfin, le Président Obama a répondu lui-même à une question sur l'actionnariat salarié et les plans ESOPs.

VAR: Forschungsergebnisse bestätigen, dass Unternehmen im Eigentum der Mitarbeiter wirtschaftlich solider arbeiten, schneller neue Arbeitsplätze schaffen und effizienter sind als die Konkurrenz.

Großbritannien: Der neue Premierminister David Cameron hat vor den Wahlen betont, dass er sich eine Übertragung von Staatsaufgaben an Mitarbeiter zur Steigerung der Effizienz vorstellen könne. Nun werden jedoch Zweifel daran angemeldet, dass die neue Koalition Mitarbeiter-Genossenschaften fördern wird. Die Beschäftigten von Royal Mail werden 10% im Rahmen der Privatisierung erhalten. Somit ist im Unternehmen der Arbeitnehmeranteil der Höchste im Vergleich zu anderen privatisierten Unternehmen der letzten 25 Jahre.
USA: Die Employee Ownership Foundation's stellte die Ergebnisse der 19th Annual Economic Performance Survey vor.
