Werknemersaandeelhouderschap in kmo's is een echt lappendeken.
Het komt voor in alle sectoren, in alle bedrijfstakken.
Hier zijn enkele nieuwe gevallen van overdrachten van
bedrijven aan werknemers in Groot-Brittannië:

Al
deze werknemers zijn eigenaar geworden van hun bedrijf,
zonder een cent te hoeven betalen.
Hun spaargeld is intact gebleven en ze hoefden niet
te lenen.
Toch hebben ze betaald. Hoe? Met hun werk, hetzelfde
werk als voorheen.
Werknemersaandeelhouderschap heeft hen dus niet blootgesteld
aan extra risico's, in tegenstelling tot wat vaak wordt
beweerd.
Het financiële mechanisme waarmee bedrijven kunnen worden
overgedragen aan werknemers is dat van collectief werknemersaandeelhouderschap.
Het werkt in de VS. Het werkt in het Verenigd Koninkrijk.
Het is ook mogelijk in andere Europese landen, waarvan
de meeste de wettelijke mechanismen hebben die het toelaten:
stichting administratiekantoor, private foundation,
fondation privée, fiducie, Privatstiftung, stiftelse,
…
