PEPPER III Report
The European Commission opened doors for a European policy regarding employee ownership, with PEPPER I Report (1991) and PEPPER II (1996). Now the Inter-University Centre Split/Berlin publishes the PEPPER III Report, describing employee financial participation in the new Member and Candidate Countries of the European Union. Much new information about employee ownership in October 2006. We made a selection of 25 remarkable articles in 6 countries: Australia, France, Ireland, Jamaica,  South Africa, USA.
Australia: Direct voting enables shareholders to vote without attending or appointing a proxy.
France: Euronext is going to launch the French Employee Ownership Index. A number of comments about the new legislation for employee ownership and participation: a "rendez-vous raté"? Eiffage's employee shareholders in strategic position.
Ireland:  Just being privatised, air company Aer Lingus faces take over by Ryanair. Employee ownership in a strategic position.
